DIRECTOR
Doug Allison, the Head Soccer Coach at Furman University, directs the camp. Allison, originally from
Bath, England, is the most winning Coach in Southern Conference history. He has won 6 Tournament
Championships and 9 SoCon regular season championships including 2010. He was also named South
Region Coach of the Year twice including 2011 and finalist for National Coach of the Year. Allison was
also Conference "Coach of the Year" 6 times and has led the team to several National Top 20 finishes
including 2011. Furman currently holds the NCAA Division I record for consecutive shutouts and the
NCAA Division I record of 46 consecutive conference games unbeaten. In his Furman tenure, Allison
has a record of 224-98-32, and has coached 33 All-Americans including 11 Academic All-Americans.
Coach Allison has also had 9 players drafted into the MLS including current US National Team members
Ricardo Clark and Clint Dempsey, and current US U-23 National Team member Jon Leathers. Allison was
inducted into the University of South Carolina’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010.
