Derek Marinatos, Assistant Coach at Furman University and current U-20 Women’s US National Team GK Coach, will direct the Goalkeepers during both Residential and Senior Elite Camp Sessions. Designed for the serious goalkeeper, this camp focuses on both the physical and the mental aspect of goalkeeping. Its goal is to enhance each player’s technical, tactical, physical and psychological ability in order to become a successful goalkeeper. The camp’s experienced and professional staff will train and mentor the goalkeepers to ensure that they maximize their potential and improve their skills. In addition to teaching the technical and tactical skills required by goalkeepers, Coach Marinatos also focuses on teaching the goalkeepers to establish a presence and to be leaders on the field. Coach Marinatos is a USSF A Licensed, ODP Region III Staff Coach, and US Soccer National Academy Scout.
